Lights dimming when the AC kicks on - should I be worried?

I've been noticing this for a while now but I kept telling myself it was probably nothing, just normal power fluctuations or maybe my imagination playing tricks on me. But it's getting more noticeable and I'm starting to think there might actually be something wrong with my electrical system. Whenever the air conditioner compressor turns on, all the lights in the house flicker and dim for just a second, and sometimes I can even hear a faint buzzing sound coming from the breaker panel. I also noticed that if I run the hair dryer in the bathroom while the AC is on, the lights in that room go really dim and the dryer seems to lose power, which makes me think maybe the panel isn't able to handle the load of multiple high-power appliances running at once. The house is older and I don't think the electrical system has been updated since maybe the 80s, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's outdated and struggling to keep up with modern demands. I'm worried that ignoring this could lead to something dangerous like an electrical fire, and I definitely don't want to take that risk with my family in the house. I've been doing some research and it seems like this could be a sign of an overloaded panel or loose connections, both of which need to be addressed by someone who knows what they're doing. I'm thinking I need to find a good Los Altos electrician for panel repairs or maybe even a full upgrade, because I don't think this is something that's going to get better on its own. Has anyone else experienced dimming lights when heavy appliances turn on? What was the cause and how much did it cost to fix? I'd really appreciate some insight because I'm kind of nervous about this whole situation.

You don't be worry but use switch off the lights and prevent form damages and you should do it turn off the ac and balance the electric current properly.
